ATP Mechanix

However, we are proud to announce that we will now be selling ATP Mechanix at CFPB.
There are very few supplements that we promote at CrossFit PB. Anders and I are proponents of always prioritizing proper nutrition, sleep and training patterns prior to implementing any sort of supplementation regimen. I remember when I was growing up, training for sports in high school, and I kept thinking every supplement was the “magic pill” that would make me the swolest human on the planet. One day, I was talking to an older guy who exemplified the term “swole,” and he told me that supplements are for that final 2% after you’ve already accomplished 98% of what you’re capable of with proper training and nutrition. I ditched all the exotic supplements, and just started focusing on these critical elements. Go figure – this worked! I added weight to all my lifts and gained quality bodyweight and all aspects of athleticism increased.
To this day, I still believe that supplements are a very small piece of the puzzle, and as a result, I always like to make sure that athletes are dialed in on the important stuff before spending money on the “magic potions.” With that said, it’s rare that I find a supplement that I truly believe in, and I was hesitant when I was referred to this product called “ATP Mechanix” (www.atpmechanix.com). This is a complete pre and post workout package of amino acids which includes “BCAAs” (Branch Chain Amino Acids), Creatine, Glutamine, Arginine, Beta-Alanine, and a ton of other “heavy hitters” when it comes to Amino Acids.
As a diligent coach and gym-owner, I made sure to test this out on myself for the last 6 months. Since beginning supplementing with this amazing product, I set a 15-pound clean PR, hitting 315# for the first time in my life, and I got back to snatching 245# with consistency. I also PR’d my 5-rep Back squat, and felt substantially more recovered and focused during my training sessions. I got ATP to sponsor our two teams for Regionals, and the athletes all found the product beneficial, as well. One of the coolest things about this company pertains to the extensive testing procedure they went through prior to making this available to the consumer. Wes Piatt is one of CFPB’s remote clients, and he used to train at CF Inferno with Bill Grundler. Wes told me a story about how the ATP guys would prick his and Bill’s fingers to test blood content prior to a WOD. Then, when they were lying on the floor, dying, post-WOD, the ATP guys would venture over and prick their fingers again to test the blood and determine the precise amino acid profile that was needed to accentuate their recovery. Companies that do this type of due-diligence deserve acknowledgement.
So, I am proud to announce that we will now be selling ATP Mechanix at CFPB. The pre-workout retails for 65 dollars for 30 servings, and the post-workout retails for 55 dollars.
