Margaux is a Registered Dietitian providing nutrition counseling in the San Diego area. She received a Bachelor of Science in Health and Sports Studies with a focus in Dietetics from Miami University and a Master of Science in Nutrition from Case Western Reserve University. Margaux holds Board Certifications as a Specialist in Renal (CSR) and Geriatrics Nutrition (CSG), and is a Certified Diabetes Educator (CDE).
Margaux has provided evidenced-based nutrition counseling to patients in acute care and outpatient settings for a variety of conditions including diabetes, kidney disease, cardiovascular disease, hyperlipidemia, weight management, sports nutrition and digestive disorders. She has also provided several national webinars for providers and patients on the topic of nutrition for kidney disease.
Margaux’s nutrition philosophy looks at the whole person to determine healthy eating habits that fit into an individual’s unique goals, lifestyle, and food preferences, instead of restricting individuals into a “one-size fits all” diet. Every individual can find his or her own healthy, life-long nutrition journey, and Margaux is there to help.
